About the role:
We are looking for a driven and structured Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate and qualify leads in our key markets — DACH and the Netherlands. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for outbound prospecting, initial qualification, and lead nurturing until handover to our Account Executives (AE).
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a mid-level professional who thrives on structure, consistency, and building pipeline.

You will be part of a team working on cutting edge AI technology, learning the ins- and outs of the robotics automation industry.
Responsibilities:
Get to know the warehouse automation market and understand what makes Smart Robotics unique for the customer
Identify and engage target accounts through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
Qualify inbound leads and assign them appropriately in the CRM
Book discovery meetings for AEs, with full context and notes
Work closely with Marketing to align on campaigns and messaging
Maintain clean and updated records in our CRM
Consistently follow up with leads via multi-step cadences
Report on weekly outreach metrics and conversion rates

Job requirements
Do you recognise yourself in the following profile?
2–4 years experience in sales development or inside sales, ideally in B2B tech or industrial automation
Fluent in German and English (spoken & written), Dutch is a strong advantage
Strong communicator and listener: Structured, concise, and persuasive
Self-starter, organized, and motivated to build repeatable processes
Understanding of consultative selling and solution-oriented engagement
Familiarity with CRM systems and outbound tools is a plus
